ida and the cake.

i think that the last time Ida was a mentioned on this blog, she was still in her mama's belly.  Since then, I played doula to her birth (still a lasting, valuable, AMAZING memory for me), and she has turned one! 
of all the babies that i've watched eat their first bit of cake, she…well…took the cake.  in every way.  is there anything cuter than curiosity? probably not.  unless it's messy. That's definitely cuter. :)
