trowell family.

Our dear friends Sarah and Jordan have taken the holidays as their marker to document their adorable family growing inches upon inches each year.  They have been friends of ours forever.  I know I've mentioned before that Sarah and I were in each others' weddings, but maybe I haven't mentioned that Jordan used to tour with my husband before there was an "us." He lived to embarrass us only in the way pre-pubescents get embarrassed, turning all shades of red and hoping against the pit in our stomachs that he wouldn't spill our (probably pretty obvy) crush to the other.  Ha! Oh, life.  Here we are, years later with baby girls a week apart and family life being the best part of it all, no question.

Here's to you, friends! :)

the copples.

these are some of our dearest friends, zac and rachel.  i really am so thankful to have them in our lives.  and once, little Olivia told me that she's pretty sure i'm just a kid dressed up in an adult body, because i like to laugh.  and y'all, it really might be the highest compliment i've ever received.
i haven't advertised holiday photos this year, and have been so happy to fill my schedule with people who mean so much to me.  isn't that what life is for?
ho, ho, ho, copples!
